A Very happy Republic Day to all of you.
Ramdinthara from Mizoram who is 15-year-old boy is the only child who will get the National Bravery Award posthumously this year because he sacrificed his life while trying to save his friend from drowning. We respect his bravery to honor him the Bravery award will be given to him on 26 January 2013 ( Republic Day 2013).

There are Twenty-one other children , including four girls who are getting the award from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ahead of 63rd Republic Day
The youngest boy among all of these 22 children is Koroungamba Kuman from Manipur , he is only seven years old and he has showed outstanding bravery by saving his younger sister from devastating fire which broke out in his house some days before.In that condition instead of panicking he showed bravery and he really deserve this Bravery Award on Republic Day 2013 ( 26 January 2013). The Indian Council for Child welfare has announced the names of these children who will be given the Bravery award on Republic Day 2013.
The ‘ Bharat Award ‘ will be given to 17 year old Tarang Atulbhai Mistry from Gujarat because he saved the lives of four people who were drowning in the 20-25 feet deep water of Narmada river after being swept away in the current while taking bath on the occasion of Dhuelti. He showed his bravery and proved to be the real son of India, that is why he is one of the children who are getting the Bravery Award on Republic day 2013 ( 26 january 2013).

Gajendra Ram from Chhattisgarh who is 11-year-old is being awarded by ‘Sanjay Chopra’ award, for saving a child from drowning in a 22-feet deep well. He also showed his courage as the other children do.
A 17-year-old girl who was instrumental in exposing the physical and sexual abuse of the inmates of a children’s home in Delhi by the owner and staff, is the one who will be getting ‘Geeta Chopra’ Award
